Adolescent Brain Development
Parenting teens can be really awesome...AND really confusing!
Their bodies look like an adult's--or almost, at least!
But they don't act like adults--sometimes, they even act more like little kids!
In this workshop, parents will learn about what's actually going on in kids' brains throughout the teen years, and why it can be so hard for them to manage emotions and make good decisions.
THEN we'll learn tools for turning parenting challenges into teachable moments that result in more responsible, respectful, resilient teens!
Come join the conversation! Learn, laugh, and leave with great tools for your parenting tool belt!
A 1.5 hour Certificate of Participation will be issued at the end of each class. This can be used by teachers, foster parents, and anyone else who needs certification hours.
