Parenting is the hardest job you'll ever do. Shouldn't it also be the most joyful one?

Some people think of the teen years as being like the Terrible Twos, filled with challenge and angst and rebellion! But really, these are exciting times, with amazing opportunities to be fascinated by our kids as we shepherd them toward successful young adulthood.

In this course, you'll learn about important changes that are going on in kids’ brains throughout the tween/teen years.

You’ll also discover how those changes impact their ability to manage emotions and make good decisions in social situations.

Best of all, you'll learn how to turn parenting challenges into teachable moments that result in more responsible, respectful, resilient teens!

Start your journey with these 2 free videos

Module 1 Session 1 - Big Picture Parenting: a Tool for Responding to Every Challenging Behavior!

In this video, we'll

*examine tools for building connection with your child, which is essential for increasing cooperation

*create a road map that will guide you toward effective parenting responses, to reduce misbehavior and increase your child's development of important life skills and character traits

*practice strategies for encouraging yourself when you feel like an ineffective parent (and we've all been there, believe me!)

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain! I'll look forward to working with you and offering you support in this first step of the journey!

Module 1 Session 2 - 2 More Tools for Increasing Cooperation

Rudolf Dreikurs said that we can only build on strength. But how can you build on it if you don’t see it?

In this video session, we’re going to combine two powerful tools that will help you build confidence in your parenting, and also strengthen your relationship with your child.

Let's get started!

what are parents saying about this class?

"Thank you. These courses have made me more mindful of who I am and how to interact with others. Not just my own kids, but with adults as well."

"My biggest take away is that I need to change my communication patterns in order to solve problems with my kids when they make mistakes. Finding solutions empowers them to develop into their best selves."

"These modules give really good points on how we parents can contribute to making our child's behavior better before the bad behavior happens."
